Kendra McManus is the owner and executive director of The Roost Training Center.
Kendra has dedicated her life to making a difference in the lives of those impacted by intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). With a special education teacher as a parent, Kendra was introduced to the IDD community from a young age. This led her to volunteer throughout middle and high school and further propelled her into this field of work. Through her experiences of working within the IDD community, Kendra recognized that there was a huge need for programs that focused on giving adults the skills to live a purposeful and meaningful life as independently as possible. It is Kendra's mission that every participant that joins The Roost feels accepted, can be themselves and becomes an active member within their home, work and community environments. |
